Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Gradeyes account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it: directly inside the app, or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed. Both routes delete the same data.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the Gradeyes app and sign in.
- Go to Account (the profile tab).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm in the dialog. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you’ve uninstalled the app or can’t sign in, email support@gradeyes.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. To help us locate your account quickly, send the request from your account email. We process these requests within 30 days, and will confirm by email once it’s done.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile (email, OAuth identifier, and display name).
- Your scan history and grade predictions, confidence scores, and sub-scores.
- Any real-grade outcomes you reported.
- Your remaining scan credits and subscription records in our database.
- The photos you uploaded — your scan images are removed within 30 days.
What may be retained, and for how long
- De-identified calibration data. Predicted grades and reported outcomes may be retained in aggregated, de-identified form (no longer linked to you) to improve model accuracy.
- Billing records. We may retain transaction records as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
About your subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple or Google. To stop billing, also cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Dealer subscriptions billed through Stripe can be canceled from the billing portal or by emailing us.
